About First Presbyterian Preschool

First Presbyterian Preschool was established in 1962 as a non-profit, non-denominational school for children three, four and five years of age. Our teachers model Christian principles through example and instruction. We focus on developing loving, trusting, and respectful relationships with the children. We are affiliated with the First Presbyterian Church of East Aurora and fully support the church’s Mission Statement.

We believe each child is special and has a unique background of experiences. Our preschool program is designed to nurture the social, intellectual, emotional, physical and spiritual growth of each child.

Our 3-year old students attend a classroom called the “Sunshine Room”. We offer a traditional 4 year old class (Rainbow Room) and a 4 plus/5 Star class(Star Room) for the older 4 year old. The Director of the Preschool is Sharon Norton.

We are very proud of our teaching staff and all they bring to the Preschool; love and compassion for children in addition to their excellent qualifications. The teachers are:

We follow the East Aurora Public School for Emergency Closing and Snow Days. The Preschool is closed if the East Aurora Schools have a delayed start.  Please listen to the local news station.

Drop off time shall not be before 9 AM unless pre-arranged with the teachers (8:45 for the 4 Plus/5 Star class). Please bring the child directly to the classroom. Please be prompt in picking up your child at the classroom doorway. Upon dismissal, children will be released only to their parents or other adults whose names are provided in writing to the teachers.
