First Presbyterian Preschool of East Aurora has been nurturing the littlest members of the East Aurora community since 1962. We offer a warm, well-rounded early childhood program for children ages 3–5, built on the belief that play is the most powerful vehicle for learning. Ours is a family-oriented program that welcomes and encourages parent involvement from the very first day of school.
The Sunshine Room

"Learning Through Play" is our motto— and in the Sunshine Room, it comes to life every single day. Our 3-year-olds grow through meaningful, joyful play that nurtures social connection, physical development, emotional well-being, intellectual curiosity, and spiritual grounding (SPIES). Children make friends, learn to share, discover how to care for others, and build new skills with confidence in a loving, supportive environment where they are free to explore and simply be kids.
The Star Room
4/5-Year-Old Class | Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday (M/F FLEX) Days | 9:00 AM –12:00 PM
The Star Room is designed to help children make a smooth and confident transition into full-day school. Through intentional, play-based learning, we build on the whole child — strengthening social connection, physical development, emotional well-being, intellectual curiosity, and spiritual grounding (SPIES) — while developing stamina, early academic foundations, and the kind of joyful confidence that sets children up for lifelong success.
Bright Beginnings Playgroup
Wednesday Mornings | 9:00–10:30 AM | Ages 0 months–5 years
Not quite preschool age yet? Come play with us! Bright Beginnings is a fun, casual drop-in playgroup for caretakers and their little ones ages 18 months to 3 years. Join us Wednesday mornings for relaxed play, meaningful connection, and a welcoming sense of community. It's a pay-as-you-go program — just $10 per session per family, no commitment required. Drop in whenever it works for you!
We are registering for the 2026-2027 school year.

We would be happy to schedule a tour of preschool. Tours are held Tuesday mornings during preschool hours, so that you can see us in action. Bring your little one so they can join in the fun! Tours are given by parents who serve on our preschool board so you can get a parent’s perspective.
