Laura Urmson
Laura Urmson holds a bachelor’s degree in Business from Canisius College. Once Laura left the corporate world and started her family, she and her husband researched all the preschools in the area, and they chose First Presbyterian Preschool. Laura was an active member of the preschool board for the many years her children attended preschool here. Laura was also an active room parent in her children’s classes in elementary school. She was responsible for activities with hands-on manipulatives, learning centers, and orchestrating class parties and other special events. In 2013, Laura was hired as a classroom aide in the 4/5 class. Laura enjoys her role working with children and finds it rewarding to watch the children grow. Laura’s motherly nature makes her a natural in the classroom. Laura and her husband, Ron, reside in Wales with their three children.
