Liz Riemer
Liz Riemer is a native of East Aurora. She has been part of our preschool, in one way or another, since 2001. Her own two children attended First Presbyterian Preschool. As a parent, she served on the Preschool Board and taught Music with Mar classes at First Presbyterian Preschool for six years. In 2008, she was hired as a teacher in the Sunshine Room. Since then, she has had the opportunity to teach our 3, 4, and 5-year-olds. Prior to preschool, Liz was an elementary school teacher, Reading Specialist, and was in Staff Development. Her bachelor’s degree is in Psychology, and she is certified in Elementary Education, K-6. Her Master’s Degree is in the Teaching of Reading, Nursery -12. Liz has extensive training in early literacy, including Reading Recovery. Liz was hired as Preschool Director in 2019 and currently serves as director and also teaches the 4/5 class. She says her classroom is one of her “happy places.” Liz and her husband, Brian, reside in East Aurora with their two adult children.
